This one puts the FUN in functional! When I saw a scrap of TIE-DIE corduroy coming my way, my inner hippie was VERY excited! I wanted to make a rug that captured the light-hearted, rolling energy of listening to your favourite 60’s pop tunes. The tie-die reads as mostly green (or, if you’re like my nephews, it looks like dinosaur skin!) but bright yellow, magenta, and purple join the party as well. Small strips of turquoise blue flow through the body, and classic tones of tan and navy blue offer a sturdy backdrop.
Dimensions: 27″ long (not including fringe), 28″ wide
Weft materials: re-purposed corduroy
Warp materials: 100% cotton string
Care Instructions: Machine washable, regular wash, hang to dry. Vacuum with NO beater bar. Fringe edges may be brushed with hairbrush. Shake out crumbs and debris between washings as necessary.
