Tote Bags

Here is a fun way to take your crafty item out of the house! Each bag is its own little work of art that is funky and functional. First, a specific item is handwoven on the loom, and finished as usual by tying the fringe. It then gets sewn on two sides, (by hand, by me) with the same heavy thread used in the warp so it blends well and is super durable. Finally, the bag receives final touches such as pockets and a strap, which are always re-purposed and salvaged items such as thrift-shopped belts, and the pockets taken from corduroy pants when I cut them down for rug-making.
